Managing security in the U.K. for a Global IT Company. I cover all aspects of security from Physical, personnel to Cyber. I'm a UK government security specialist.

1. What do you like about your job?

I love the diversity and the ability to translate security principles to emerging technologies.

2. How did you get into this role?

I'm ex-military security. I moved into security consultancy and management after I left the British Army.

3. An example of what you do each day.

Helping people translate the UK government security requirements to carry out their role securely and effectively. Managing risks and issues. Identifying opportunities to assist our teams and mitigate risk.

4. What would you say to others who are considering following the same career path? (Your Words of Wisdom)

Always stick with what you know, but use every day as a training day to learn and develop. Look into how you can make yourself indispensable and you'll never be out of a job.
